I don't understand why the front tweeter/midrange for the 03 and below RLs is way down there. It muffles the sound so much. So I thought I did something to solve that.....





The sound is so much better and clearer now.

I used the factory tweeters.

On a side note, the tweeters from the 04 RLs will not work with 03 and below RLs. The connection is the same but the 04 RL tweeters are smaller, have different mounting points and have a built in resistor; thus, it doesn't produce the same sound as the stock '03 tweeters. Therefore, I had to reuse my stock tweeters with the 04 RL tweeter covers (which required alot more work than I thought). But it came out good and does it purpose.

 

what did you use as the bezel/grille?

 

I used the tweeter cover/bezel from an '04 RL.
