Tape Adapter

Hello!
I have a Acura RL 1998. I want to use a tape adapter to use to listen to music from my phone. Is there a certain tape I should be using?

I've gone through a couple due to the cable fraying near the plug. My criteria was a black cord with a 90* plug. The first one I had was pretty noisy mechanically (you could hear it rubbing in the cassette player). It didn't last long before the cable went bad. The 2nd one I bought is still going (3rd in the glove box though). I used epoxy around where the cable joins with the plug to reinforce it a bit. So far, so good.
