T6.5 LED bulbs wedges dont fit
I've ordered some of the Led bulbs.
I tried to install them they dont fit into the original socket wedges.
They were too little they fall out.Not too tight.
I've tried to find those Sockets no1 has them.
I think it s time to get a new car, getting tired messing with this car.
By the way the speedometer still isnt working the RPM part doesnt even move and the Speedometer the needle doesnt even move.
I managed to get the fuel to show up.
By the way the cluster on 1999 RL vs the 2001 is different.
They have a different lights displays on the cluster.
My headlights used to display on the left side on the 99 displays on the right above the fuel.
The VSA is not lightening up at all.
I bought a 1999 cluster.

To get one good cluster this is what you should do.
Take the 2001 cluster and pull the needles off of their motors. You can do this without damaging them. Remove the gauge faces from the 2001. Now put the 2001 aside for the time being. On the 1999 cluster remove the needle, face, and motor. Seperate the needle from the motor so you can remove the faceplate. Once you remove the 99 faceplate swap the 2001 faceplate in and put the needle back on. Repeat this for all of motors that aren't working.
Once you do all that you can re swap the 01 faceplates with the 99 motors back onto your 2001 cluster. Make sure to put the screws in their proper place and it should be all working gauge wise.

I posted this on your other thread about the LEDs, I got them from the same seller last year, what you have to do to get them to fit in the sockets is use a soldering iron and dab a tiny bit of solder on the contacts to get them to be a little bit thicker, then they don't fall out.
