OK so my factory rear deck speakers in my 04 RL have finally blown I hear a rattling sound in my rear deck drivers side. I want to up grade so my question is what are the best or pretty damn good rear speakers out and what size fits in the rear deck 6X9, 6 1/2? Thanks any info is greatly appreciated!

the rear deck is 6x9. I believe they are 2 ohm. Are you keeping everything else stock? (keeping oem amp?)

Yup I more than likely will keep the oem amp just need some real good speakers.

I think you'l be limited by the resistance.

check crutchfield to see what 6x9's come in the same resistance.

they only show the Alpine SPR-69C and a lot of smaller sized speakers w/ tweeter sets I mma call Crutchfield directly

If you want to stay completely stock, the rear speakers are the same from 96 - 04. The part number is 39120-SZ3-A21. They are $44.65 list price each.
