What's up peoples?? I currently have a 1999 TL but a friend of mine is looking to get an RL, preferably a 2000 or better. Now I know the TL had some good years and bad years as far as the tranny goes, is there a particular year that he should avoid? What year would you guys recommend?

 

I'd focus on the 03 and/or 04 RL. CR has the 04 "excellent" in ALL categories ! Go figure!

 

I'd recommend the '04 RL. It had the most features.

Definitely the 2002 to 2004 RL's, since they had a bit more power and a bit more steering feel.

All RL's are reliable and never had any transmission issues.
