Suspension is fine for my tastes. There is only so much performance you can get out of a FWD car thats just under 4000 pounds.. ![Big Grin](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
I'd rather mod the car to have a bit more horsepower. Maybe another 25 or 30.

How to go around that? Either a higher stall speed for the torque converter or maybe a software change. Both of which i doubt is out there in the aftermarket. We'd probably be the first to try.

hmmm, you going to check that out?
sounds interesting, as that intial hesitation is the one thing I would like to diminish. otherwise I'm happy with her pull in the mid/high ranges.

I have tightened the throttle cable, that fixed part of the issue ![Shrug](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/shrug.gif)
I'm not interested in messing with the torque converter..

I could have sworn that it comes out from underneath. From previous experience when mine came loose where the wood grain ends just before the tray. But ok ... I'll take your word for it. Will let you know when it arrives

You're right. My bad. You need to take the black cover around the shifter off first.
Pry it up with a flathead screwdriver (covered with a cloth to prevent scratching the wood)

I just ordered one from Delray Acura for like 20 bucks. If you scroll down to some of the previous posts in this thread, Ken left a link for it. I just was afraid of how much pressure to use on the plastic in there. It's a little chilly outside here in Md, and I know how cold+plastic = brittle.

What did you do for the higher compression? I'm curious...

heres a thought. was thinking if you can mod the head of the RL into an NSX. RL's engine code is a C35A and the nsx sohc is a C32A. I friend of mine said it won't work. but imagine a swap off an NSX?? damn that'll be crazy. One more thing does the NSX and RL share the same brake set-up in the front?

port and polish, deck the head (increase compression) port match the intake manifold, or swap to a Type II mani? (not sure on that one), rework the exhaust, blah blah blah
