Good morning everyone. I just became the third owner of a beautifully imperfect
1998 Acura 3.5RL with just under 98k miles. For the year, she is in decent condition, however, she needs a little tlc. Starting from very important to it can wait is the leaky fuel tank. I can tell she sat for a while. I need to drop the tank and see where the leak is coming from. I have narrowed it down to a hole either on the side or the top, I just need to access the tank itself in order to complete the repair which seems kinda tough since Issa shield over the tank. Has anyone else had this issue before? Any advice would be helpful. Secondly, I need to change out spark plugs and coils but that doesn't seem to difficult since the engine isnt Transverse. Thirdly, the dreaded timing belt and water pump which I'll get someone else to handle. Any advice in general would be very helpful. Always wanted one of these. Looking to get her to 100 percent and enjoy her for many years to come..

If it sticks on the undercoat applied to its mount, carefully pry it off the mount.
18.Install the drain bolt with a new washer, then coat the drain bolt with Noxrust 124B. Allow the Noxrust to dry for 20 minutes. 19.Install the remaining parts in the reverse order of removal.
