I have the radio code...How do I key it in?

Hi.

Just had the timing belt and water pump done from a side job mechanic. He forgot to put the radio code back in. How do I key the code in?

also, my radio code is E00 then 6 digit numeric code....

Not sure but RL, but in other Hondas the 6 digit numeric can be keyed in using the 6 presets keys for Radio stations/CD changer, so you may want to give that a shot..

the preset only goes up to 123456 how do you punch in 9 and 7?

Typically the code is 5 digit and composes of 1-2-3-4-5-6. If you have 7-8-9 in your code, you may try turning the Tune knob to see if changes the number beyond 6.

Open ur glovebox.

On the side closest to the driver there will be a white label with numbers on it. That is your code. Use the 1 through 6 buttons to key it in.

Not always, that sticker is placed there by the DEALERSHIP and not by the manufacturer.

Another spot I've seen the sticker placed is underneath the fusebox in the engine bay.

Oops sorry

If you have the serial number of the radio then a trip to your local acurs dealer would be your best bet then. They should give you the code for free as long as you have proof of ownership.

yeah i guess the code that was on the ash tray was actually serial number not a radio code. I had to call dealership give them the number and they gave me the radio code. thanks.
