Hello to all Acurazine Members !!!

I'm a new member to this Acurazine club and this is my first post. I have a 1997 Acura 3.5 RL and it drives well.

Except that, everytime I start it, there's a sound coming from under the hood. It just does a "krrr krrrr" periodically giving a break of couple of seconds for a minute or so and then it dies down and behaves like a normal car.

The last time I took it to the dealer, I asked him about it and he said that the sound is coming from the ABS unit.

Is there a way out of this problem? I'm facing this problem for a year or so. Would it damage the car in any way if I continue to drive ignoring it?

Appreciate any help on a solution for this problem.

Kinda hard to diagnose with the krr krrr. lol

No but really have it at least diagnosed. I dont know how your local dealers are but my local ones charge a flat rate to diagnose for an hour.


Strange sounds dhould always be checked out.
