E3 Sparkplug?
E3 Sparkplug?
So I went to my local auto repair shop and asked for a tune up. They said it going to be $380!
WTF! He said it expensive because the car required platinum plugs, is this true? Anyway I went to Kragens and bought the 6 E3 spark plugs (E3.48) for $36. Since the E3 is not platinum, will this E3 with DiamondFire tecnology works for 96 RL? Thank....

just get you some ngk platinum or iridium(if you diy) and call it a day.
i was never sold on the gimmicky spark plugs. i always thought if they were so good the manufacturers would've used them. especially when they all went platinum/iridium for longevity.

.
there's 2 types of NGK iridiums.
the iridium IX's and the regular Iridiums.
IridiumIX is good for about 50-60k and the other ones are good for about 100k. The iridiums usually cost around 7 bucks and the other ones cost around 10

yeah u are right hatch. i forgot that there are the ix series and the laser series (i believe the oem use the lasers). i put ix's in my car when i bought it just to know a fresh set of plugs were in. they're good plugs and generally recommended for japanese cars.
