Whats the best way to get bluetooth into my 2004 Acura Rl so I can stream music from phone or Ipod touch. I dont want to change my radio that would be a nightmare. Thanks in advance.

Sorry, do a radio swap.

I added bluetooth to my '02 RL via replacing the Onstar but it was for phone calls only, no audio streaming. I've been there and done that.

You can add the parrot bluetooth to the existing radio in the 04 RL and you loose nothing. That is what I have done. I took out the ash tray and put the parrot display in the ashtray. The only crappy thing is the wireless remote for the parrot has to be some place so you can adjust volume and such.

Good luck.

The sound is great. I listen to Pandora all the time and I would say better than cd quality. The only problem is when i switches from the parrot to the normal radio....it is kinda sketchy. I would not have it any other way however. Keep the factory radio and all its benefits and get bluetooth to boot.

If you can get to your radios xm plug you might be able to use an adapter that will interface there. Look for 2004 TL ones to see if it works, you will have to verify the plugs but I believe it might be the same.

Its easier on the pre 04 years especially if your car did not come with navigation.
