another dumb rim question.
another dumb rim question.
After being gone from the site for almost 6 years after I wrecked my first gen TL, I'm back. This time with a 2002 NHB Non Nav premium RL with 94K on the ODO. One owner car with the entire maintenance history in north Florida. Immaculate and got it for a steal. Now for the noob retard moment. I have been offered a set of XXR 006 wheels for 200 bucks. I love the way they look on his car but not real sure about on my RL, mostly due to the size. The fronts are 20x8.5 and the rear are 20x10
Will these even remotely be a possibility to put on it? I know I know, donk, 4x4, ghetto, all that..... But whatever..... I'm not planning on lowering it anytime soon, may be willing to roll fenders a little if need be, I don't race it or expect it to handle like a real sports car but I do enjoy the fact that it's the sportier of the 1st gens. I'm just hoping with a decent tire (no stretch or anything) that I can have a nice looking set of wheels either painted black or gunmetal for an even nicer price. I'm white BTW hahahaha......
so don't hate on me too bad. Just looking for some facts that I've been looking for but it's so hard to sift through all the flame threads on other ethnic opinions......

considering the 3rd gen TL takes a bit of work to put on 10 inch wide wheels, I'd say you'd have your work cut out for you.
im not positive, but I believe the first gen RL will need some work to be able to fit 10 inch wide rims.
what are the offsets?

+35 offset. I'm doubt I'm even going to try it. Not going to risk tearing something up or spend money putting tires on this thing only to find out they don't work. If they were all 4 20x8.5 I would get them with the intention of tucking them at a later date with drop coils and a camber kit.
