Don't do it bro, it going to be expensive. Sell your RL and buy a newer model.

You can get an '02/'03 for cheap. Even the '04 is priced nicely.

i dont have an RL i have a 99 TL.. i was just curious because im looking to buy an RL and it seems that even a 99 RL is pricey.... i found a 99 RL with 130k miles, its dark green with tan leather newer body same exact colors as my TL, would you say 7k is too much? would you think an even trade on my TL is acceptable? my TL is mint and one owner with 170k miles but i have the 03 tails, 03 TL cd changer, Projector headlight retrofit, OEM body Kit, and all new tires, brakes, timing belt, battery, ect...

ok well looks like she is more than willing to trade my TL for her RL... i really liked the RL ALOT!! it was more my size and was exactly the same colors exterior and interior as my TL.. it was ment to be i think.. but hers just needs a detail but i love the looks of the RL better and it was so much more comfortable. how is the CD changer on a 99 RL? can it read burned cds well? and the RL doesnt have any tranny issues does it? also is a 99 RL a 5 speed tranny? thanks

4sp tranny. Its a tank. Its basiclly a 91-95 Legend with the little kinks worked out. Parts are expensive since its not a common car. CD changer has no problems with burnt audio cd's

honestly 7k is not too pricey as the 04's locally are still pulling the 12k area.

I think 7K for a 99 is too much. Especially in green/tan color combo. When I was a buyer, I always bid less for green, blue, tan and maroon colors as they are not as popular.

I paid under 7 for my 02 with 128K....
