2002rl

Hi I am new to this forum. I have a 2002 Acura 3.5Rl and I like the HID low beams but I was wondering is there anyway to make them brighter? say like the mercedes and bmw's that you see riding around with the bright white hids?

I guess what I am asking is ..

1.) will going with a 6000k hid bulb for the low beam instead of the stock 4300k make a difference as far as brightness (noticable)?

2.) or if i would have to do the fog lights too, how do you go about changing the fog lights to hids? and is it hard? I am guessing I would need the ballast and the whole kit to do so? what site sells them for a decent price?

as far as light output is concerned, the lower your bulb temp is, the more usable light you will get.. so the 4300k will be brighter than the 6k. the most noticeable difference is the color output. 6k will be more white

and for the fogs, you would have to purchase an aftermarket hid kit. its really not that hard to install. v-leds, xenondepot, xenonvision. there all good, just do some research

Also if you have that aweful haze on your headlights try cleaning them for a better output. Autozone has a selection of headlight restoration kits

check out sharphid.com they have the standard 35 watt hid kits along with 55 watt kits that i would assume will be brighter,

but if you want that specific BENZ look, part of how they get that look is the projectors in the headlights themselves, it will also produce that signature cut-off line that projectors have. just do a google search for projector retrofit, you will find alot of results...
