Hello,

Just picked up a 2011 RDX w/Tech. When the front/driver and rear/passenger windows are down a few inches they rattle like crazy! Went back to the service dept and they said this is normal?!?! He had mechanic pull the door panels just to check and said everything was tight and there was nothing he could do about it.

How could this be normal? And is there really no fix or mitigation technique?

Any ideas would be much appreciated...

Mine do the same thing. And as I think about it.... so have most of my Honda cars.

Seems like a cheapness by Honda. I've had many other cars that didn't have this problem.

 

I have the same problem on my front passenger. My solution, open the window all the way down or not at all.

 

Same since 2007 for me.

Not only do the windows rattle but since I got my 2009 RDX I have noticed in the Ontario winter months the windows freeze. It is very annoying and I have never had a car that does this.

 

I was told this is normal back in 2009. Still, there is a quality issue with the glass fitting loose on the window regulator.

 

My 2010 Acura RDX got the same problem with the driver window. Dealer said this is how it is...disappointing...
