Rear Floor Mats awful

I have an 07 RDX with the stock carpet floormats on the rear. I cannot belief there are no pegs or grommets to hold the rear floor mats in place . Almost every time I have somebody in the rear seat, the floormats get all bunched up and out of shape. Has anybody else experienced this problem and are there any fixes to it other than buying new all- weather floormats?

This forum is not that active, so waiting for a response might never come,

for your problem, unless you want to staple the carpet to the floor, no there is no fix for this, other than buying a all weather mat carpet. Rear seats are horrible for this rdx, its not comfortable, its packed in, let the rear passengers play with the mat........ just kidding.

Get a OEM all season mat or from weather tech. Those are the only options my friend.

A different option for the back

I replaced my mats with weather tech floor liners. They never move around and I actually am able to keep my car a lot cleaner than when I had carpeted mats. To clean I dump any debris and take a damp sponge to them and the interior's clean - no hauling any vacuum out. The only downside is the too visible company logo.

I have OEM all weather mats in both my TSX and RDX. They actually keep the car cleaner, zero stains, 10 times easier to clean, no "funny" smells most cars have with carpet mats, they have good grip, and they look very nice.

I will never go back to carpet mats in a car.

I have the all season oem rubber mats for my 2011 and it works great.
My carpet at the driver side started to break just days after I purchase the RDX.

I would suggest to upgrade to the oem or weathertech ones. (Carpet ones are made very poorly)

I too have the rubber OEM mats and they are very deep and fit like a glove, especially the front mats

I am not trying to influence anyone's decision but I have a complete set (front, rear, and cargo) of black Weathertech liners for sale on "the black market".
I agree with everyone that the Weathertech is an exceptional product, unfortunately my RDX was written off a couple of weeks ago, but I will certainly use the money to purchase another set for my TL, these mats are line no other.
