Popping noise coming from back wheel area
Popping noise coming from back wheel area
I am currently experiencing a small but very annoying popping noise coming from the back lefthand side of my 09 RDX. It is very noticeable when driving on flat surfaces with minimal bumps, just constant creaking/popping. It does not affect the drivability at all but I was hoping you guys had any idea. I do have Eibach lowering springs on the vehicle and KYB shocks in the back. Thanks for the help!
I was fine when I had the shocks and springs installed. We were able to identify where the popping noise was coming from and it wasn't anything to do with the shocks. It was actually the lock on the back of the rear driver side seat that has shifted or worn out enough that when the seat is locked in the upright position it rattles just enough to make that popping noise anytime you hit a bump, brake, or accelerate. Hard to hear with the radio on but enough for me to want it fixed.
