Normal sensor values (IAT / Intake manifold pressure)
Hi, first post here, RDX 2010, about 166k, I was curious about the sensors and used the elm327 Bluetooth dongle that I had and connected with the car using torque pro.
I found something weird, the intake temperature reading at idle was ~80C after parking the car on a cold day 10C (I have configured the app to use the metric system), I know that the RDX has two IAT sensors, one on the MAF sensor and an other one located on the intake manifold below the intercooler, this should trigger an OBD code right? Or this is just below the threshold for the code, also the intake manifold pressure was reading 4.2psi, I don't know if this is normal but for me the IAT reading should be a few degrees more than ambient temp right?
The car doesn't really have an issue, I don't push the car and I'm getting 16/21mpg, but I've seen the exhaust tips with some carbon buildup, I noticed the STF and LTFT pulling fuel -7 and -8, no vac leaks (replaced the intake tube, typical cracking), injectors were cleaned and plugs changed (previous one were ok, couldn't see any issues other than the ring with some carbon deposits like old plugs)
Does this seem normal? what readings are you getting?
Stock bov seems too sensitive but I guess this is normal, when I was really pushing the car I got some stutter at high load but not as bad as a misfire, normal driving is perfect, exhaust smells like a new car with good cats, just fine.

I am not sure what would be considered a normal IAT temp for the RDX, but when sitting at idle, your intake temps will rise due to the warm temp under the hood and lack of air flow. Once that heat soaks into the intercooler, the air has a very long path through a lot of hot metal and plastic before it gets to the 2nd IAT sensor. I would be more curious about my intake temps while moving, and while under throttle. If you're cruising at a steady speed you should see your intake temps come down to just above ambient. You may want to take some data logs and see what it looks like there.
Manifold pressure also seems fine. Typical at idle should read around -.7 bar from atmosphere, or roughly .3 bar in absolute pressure (with some variance between cars, weather, elevation etc). .3 bar is roughly 4.3 psi so you're right there.
