any harm in relocating IAT sensor?

any harm in relocating IAT sensor?

any harm in relocating the IAT sensor to the intake tubing and plug up the hole in the intake manifold?

i know its been done, but i haven't heard of many doing it. just wondering if anyone has some input?

i'm pretty sure typeR did, i think he put it in the intake tube going into the throttle body, but i'm not sure if this has any positive or negative side effects.

sends signal of lower temperatures rather than higher temperatures. higher temps would cause a pull of timing. placing IAT either just loose in engine bay or in the actual intake tube will shows lower temps to keep timing advanced.
