Hello,
Im Clayton, i just joined in hope to get some in depth knowledge about my vehicles.
I Have a 03 CL typeS 6MT w 225k its my daily, My girl has 07 RDX, tech pack w 265k its her daily. We love both our vehicles, both are in stock form.
I have excessive oil consumption on the RDX its that pearl white color and the back is always sooted up. Also i have this sound resembles "holding a plastic bag in the wind" when you lift of the gas pedal.
Looking for another to track @virnow.com torn between are Crx, Crz kswaped, or Another RDX with mods for its 70/30 AWD capabilities

Welcome to the forums.

Since this is a topic/technical issue which will require replies and discussion, and not an introduction, this thread has been moved from the New Member Introductions forum to the model specific forum for better response.

If the sound is what I'm thinking of, for me it was a precursor to the P2263 code that many of us get at higher mileage, when the actuator bolt on the turbo wears into an oval shape. Started with the off-throttle noise, eventually the code popped. No real danger to keep driving the car, although low-rpm power/response will continue to dull and passing emissions may be an issue with an active code. Read through the long thread below, just in case this is around the corner for you.
