Need help 2008 RDX
If you really do have gas getting mixed with oil, it could be a sign of worn piston rings or running too rich (which itself could be caused by a number of issues...bad injector, misfiring, etc). But, it could also just be that you take way too many short trips without letting the car reach normal operating temperature.
When is the last time you changed your oil? Oil is always going to contain “some” blow by (i.e. gasoline) as piston rings never perfectly seal. This will get worse as the miles go up. But this is why we change our oil in the 1st place which is to get rid of dirty contaminated oil. I am about to hit 300k. The only engine work I have done is adjust the valves, change the plugs, and fix the turbo actuator issue (twice).
