Moonroof self-opening

I have a 2007 RDX. Beginning a month ago, the moonroof would tilt open by itself. This has happened a few times over the last month. The last couple times, when I would push the switch to close, it would not work. A few minutes later it did work. I have pulled the fuse to keep it from opening. Anyone else out there have a similar problem?

I had the problem where I wasn't able to close it when it was tilted. I found that if I hold the button to close manually instead of clicking it in that it will close. Otherwise it will close and reopen if I tried the automatic one.

This only happens in the summer when my tree drips sap all over the car and the moonroof is "glued" shut and I'm trying to close it after opening it.

wow you continue to leave your cars under that tree? SAP isn't good for the paint.

as you have found out, it just reverses as a safety feature to keep from pinching fingers and such, and that you can manually close it yourself
