I recently got my hands on a 2012 RDX Tech. And the Interior lights don't work and neither does the Moonroof.
I checked the fuses in the Footwell as well as the engine bay. I believe the previous owner knew about the issue because they put 10amp fuses instead of the recommended 7.5 amp fuses.
All fuses in the vehicle are good but neither of these items are working.
Has anyone encountered this issue or does anyone have any recommendation?

 

The moonroof fuse should be 20A, separate from the 7.5A of the interior lights. Did they put a 10A fuse there? If so I imagine it would pop.

Also, just to rule out interior lights - have you replaced any bulbs and double-checked the rocker switch? If the switch is in the full off position, the lights will not come on even when doors are opened.

Ruling out both of those, my next guess would be the actual controls for the light. I believe it's all on one unit, and perhaps the harness is loose or damaged.
