Keys get stuck if i Reverse and put to Park. if i do a parallel park i have to from R to either N or D to P for the key to come out fine. is there something wrong with my tranny or some sensor maybe? it kinda worries me this might be a big problem in the future and its my first acura

Is your steering wheel still turned all the way when you park? Maybe the steering lock is catching it.

so far its working fine now the steering wheel is not completly turned all the way i usually put the steering straight whenever i park. so im not really sure what couse it. im guessing maybe the gear lever wasnt fully set to park.

 

My 2008 RDX did the exact same thing. I ended up having to remove the ground cable and left it overnight. the next morning it worked perfectly! No explanations except maybe the computer had to reset. Anybody else got any comments?

 

I had the same issue and took it to Acura for warranty. My issue was the shifter cable was not tight and the car was not fully engaging in park...in turn I could not remove the key. All they did was tighten the cable and it was fixed.
