Door Locking/Unlocking Problems

Door Locking/Unlocking Problems
I posted this about a year ago and didn't get a response, so I thought I'd try again.
My rear doors do not lock/unlock with the key fob or button on the drivers side door. I hear a sound in both rear doors as if the actuator is trying to unlock the door, but I have to manually unlock the door by reaching over. Any suggestions on the fix? I'm usually the only one in the car, so it doesn't bother me. It's a 2008 RDX Tech with 180K miles.

Hey man, sorry you didn't get much attention on this last time.
It's quite likely its the door lock actuators. You said you can hear them trying, just not engaging, so I can almost guarantee it's the actuators. Although I haven't done them in an RDX, here at work (Hyundai) I can get them done in about 20 min per door so they're not a tremendous amount of work.
Items 13 and 20 would be what you're looking for, as they are door specific:

It’s the door acuator I have to replace mine I just don’t feel like paying the money for an inconvenience at this time. I just manually lock them for now. For some reason the door and window regulators in this truck suck. Especially, in the really cold winters they seem to crap out. Hope this helps you out. Let me know if you have any questions...
