2008 rdx 160k..emission light came on this morning when I was driving to work also sh all wheel drive light came on with it and I noticed I was only getting power to the front wheels but when I turn the car off and then turn it back on that light went away and check emissions light Stayed on.. also spit out a p0171 code? I looked it up it says it could be the O2 sensor gas cap, 2 the Cadillac converter. Someone told me to check the intake hose and mass flow sensor and there's a tiny crack in my intake hose would that cause this? Any help would be highly appreciated. Ty

Ya I thought that 2. I also checked the intake hose and it had a nice crack in it. So I was on my on my way to auto zone to get a new one ,and the light wasn't on anymore on my drive there still not on.. but definitely loosing power when I punch it 3 times out of 5 can't get out of it's own way ! Turbo still got boost .. changing the hose this morning and the air filter. Hope that works..

 

I had the same exact issue, I bought the O2 sensor thinking it was that & then checked the intake hose. It also had 2 big tears in it causing a louder turbo sound. Bought 1 on amazon for $20 & had it installed 2 days later. The lights for emissions & SH AWD have not came on since. I basically got an O2 sensor for nothing lol.

 

I went to AutoZone got the hose and got home and it was the wrong one! Idiots! They didn't have the right one nowhere did, so I had to order it online so I duct taped the crack just so I could drive. Waiting on the part should be here tomorrow . Check engine light came back on after I took the hose off and mass air sensor .

 

Yeah mine ripped too. I have a custom intake on now and get way better intake and throttle response. The turbo lag doesn't seem as noticeable, but I do enjoy the extra intake sound Haha.
