This is important, I am trying to diagnose an issue; however, I cannot find any pictures or videos online.

If someone can take a moment to check what GEAR lights up in the instrument panel when the key is turned to ON.

Is it just the red P or P + (D)rive?

Awesome, thanks for the reply! I was having issues removing the key and thought that the D lighting up plus whatever gear I was in.

 

Thats a well known issue with a switch. You need to clean contacts on position switch.
