FYI: I've had my battery go dead after coming back from 10+ day vacations. After the third time I insisted the dealer not return the car to me until they have a fix. Apparently there is a service notice that the radio Amplifier which has a drain (even when the car is off) and needed to be replaced. I've since been on a 10 day vacation and had no battery drain.

 

What year is your RDX. I have had starting issues ever since I bought my 08 tech in December of 07. My dealer told me that there is no service notice for the battery. I thought about just buying a better battery. I will be calling the dealer about this.

 

I have a 2007 model (Dec 2006), but Acura didn't identify the amplifier issue until Oct 2007 (I think) which would have been the 2008 model. There is a service bulletin on it but I can't seem to re-find it on the Internet.

 

Try searching this forum. I'm pretty sure the dead battery issue and fix has been discussed here before.
