I just bought my 09 rdx, so far, so good. I have a question regarding the Acura remote starter. I can start it and stop it okay, but I can't unlock the doors when I have it started without shutting down again. And it seems I can't start it with the doors unlocked...so, I end up starting it with the remote (cold up here in Canada already!) and then it shuts down when I open the door, and start it again. Is there a way to keep the motor running until I get in the car and put the key in the ignition? This is how most remote starts work.

 

i didnt think the 09 had the remote start as an option?
