2007 RDX Leaking

Greetings,

I am a new RDX owner here (1 week!) and have to say that this car is fantastic.

Yesterday, I noticed a leak coming from under the front passenger side. It was coming from the area highlighted in red below.

Any ideas on what is going on?

Cheers,

Ryan

It looks like your A/C system draining condensation from the coils when the humidity starts to increase (same way a glass of water with ice has moisture on the outside). If the system did not drain the water, the A/C would start to get that musty smell. Looks 100% normal.

Our monsoon season with higher humidity (maybe rain) is about to start in NM. I'm about to start dripping also.

Sounds to me like the AC as well - and if that's it, it's perfectly normal. I get huge puddles under my car in the summer. Touch and smell the liquid. If it has no smell, it's most likely condensation. Most other fluids will smell like something - oil, antifreeze, etc.

Sure it's not the blinker fluid? You don't wanna run out of blinker fluid... might as well scrap a car if that happens...

Welcome to the club mang! But seriously, looks like A/C drainage... but you might wanna take it to the dealer and have the blinker fluid checked just in case...

Worn muffler bearings, or possibly bad coil spring filters

Yes it is water and it is very normal!

The hose is a drain for the air conditioner condenser coil condensation
