Hello everyone

The. “ tailgate open” message appear on the MID even with the tailgate is closed. I have check all the connection and replaced the tailgate lock actuator. That does not fixthe problem. Is there a fuse for the lock actuator. Any help is much appreciate. Thank you

Try to reset your battery by disconnecting the negative terminal only for a couple of hours. Make sure you have your navigation and radio codes on hand.

Make sure the new trunk acuator is working properly. Is it opening and closing properly? Is it locking and unlocking properly? Is it latching all the way or just partially?

Thank you so much for replying. The new actuator is working proper. It lock and unlock. The tailgate close properly. I have also adjust the 4 black rubber stoppers. I will do the reset as suggested. Is there a fuse for the tailgate lock actuator?

Their is no fuse for the tailgate. The only fuse that would affect that is the lock/unlock fuse. But if it’s doing that properly that wouldn’t be the problem.
