I really dont see much of a difference other than the car does build boost a little faster but even still, its drops off so fast, it barely counts. In Sport mode, it definitely makes a difference but not much. I tried running the BOV open atmosphere but the ECU doesnt like that. Keeps going into Limp mode. So added the recirc cap and all was well. The intake was chrome, I ceramic coated it black.
the hose was way to short and was rotting anyway. Yes the Vac adapter was from P2R.
14 psi is peak but doesn't last to even count lol
Also had to change hoses for the coolant lines. Those were too short.
Yeah, that’s what I figured, no hope in getting the stock hose to work. Ah well. My coolant hoses are bypassed, so I’m good there.
I have a J-series throttle body, P2R adaptor, and ported intake manifold that’s been sitting on a shelf in my basement for too long. I’ve been too lazy to install because I bought an 8th gen Si as a track car and it’s been consuming all of my free time. One of my concerns since the P2R adaptor points straight up was clearing the intercooler. I’m thrilled to see that’s not an issue.

With the stock throttle body, when you foot brake a launch, there’s a safety feature that only allows the throttle body to partially open, so you can only build about 3psi. Caleb (another member who has long since sold his RDX and I think still holds the ¼ record) put a J series throttle body on in hopes of building more boost while foot braking and I believe he said he saw 6psi, but I’m not sure if he was guessing based on the factory gauge or data logged it from Hondata. Probably the latter knowing him, but I can’t remember. Either way, he was able to drop down to a 1.8 60 foot from I think low 2s. The car boggs when only launching off of 3psi. Since you have a real boost gauge, just curious if you had tried it out to see a difference.

I just went out and tested. At a 3500rpm launch brake boosted, saw boost build to about 7-8psi.
Now go ahead and install that stuff and post up. I was thinking of getting another intake manifold and having it ported to match my J35 throttle body.

Will looping the coolant lines hurt anything? I was thinking of blocking off the coolant lines on my TB also.

Write-up on Tire Letters? That is a tedious process lol. I checked it our youtube.
But, you basically clean your tires until no more dirt can be rubbed off using acetone.
using the supplied sand paper, scuff the area where you'll be laying the tire letters. Not too much, just scuff it to help the glue seat.
Using the adhesive paper, lay the lettering face down and make sure your spelling and position is properly done. Mine is a little crooked, and I tried SUPER hard lol but its not too bad.
Apply glue to your lettering. Try not to use too much to avoid gooping. Let the glue sit for about 1 minute to make the glue get more tacky. Trust me, it works WAY better than sticking the letters with fresh glue. Less gooping and leaking.
MAKE SURE THAT YOUR POSITIONING IS SPOT ON. IT IS SO MUCH WORK TO REMOVE THE LETTERS AND CLEAN THAT GLUE UP. SAME PROCESS ON ALL TIRES.
