Talking SPEC A parts for RDX - WHEN?

Every other acura i believe has spec a parts, why not the rdx? Or at least aftermarket struts/ shocks. Only Eibach makes some lowering springs.

Lately rather than make A-Spec parts for Acura vehicles, Acura has chosen to instead make Type-S models. But typically it takes a few years before they would release A-Spec parts for any particular model. I wouldn't imagine that we'd see any A-Spec item for the RDX for a while. Plus I don't see Acura making the suspension any stiffer when they just made it softer this year. And they already sell upgraded wheels/tires. What other A-Spec things would you look for? Maybe a full body kit but thats mostly cosmetic.

I understood the a spec parts were not simply stiffer, but more advanced, variable valving? so it would ride better, smoother. I know the tok. illuminas gave a much more controlled ride than stock on my old tl. RDX rides a little jumpy right now (only 150 miles yet)

Maybe they will package up the 07 suspension as an A-Spec for the 08s and newer models for those who want the stiffer feel of an 07.

I could see better brakes as an A-Spec package that would be desired by many.

I think the sensible upgrade as of now would be a break kit & a full body kit.

I have been in talks with Acura about this for some time. Right now there isn't enough interest for them to develop A-SPEC Performance parts for the RDX. According them them there most likely won't be any out ever

I didn't know RDX guys were interested in lowering their car...just springs or the whole nine yards with the coilovers?

Not sure why my first post was deleted but yea, sorry to rain on the parade but at this point that is their stand on it. I have owned 12 new Acura's in my time and am very involved with modding them. I would love to see some A-SPEC parts come out but I can also understand them not wanting to spend the money to develop them if there is little interest. I have pointed them to some of the threads here but we don't make up enough people yet to get things going.

if anything i would only be interested in an aspec lip kit... if possible, but i doubt it since they have the front lip and rear difuser.. which i have haha

but honestly, if i were to lower it, id go with coilovers so its adjustable
