If after reinstalling the factory airbox the light went off, it means the intake that you got is making your car run extremely lean and it can't compensate for the added air. I'm not overly familiar with Weapon-R quality control, but if the piping is smaller/larger than the factory stuff, the MAF doesn't read the volume correctly and will kind of fault to a limp mode type of setting, restricting power
Although I realize you got an intake for a reason, the only thing I can suggest is either (a) leave the factory box on it or (b) get another intake from either CP-E or K&N. I personally have a CP-E and never had an issue with a light coming on.

I would argue the engine is gettng zero extra air at any RPM and throttle setting shy of WOT at redline. Running lean because of the extra air from an aftermarket intake is a physical impossibility on this engine, errr, unless so much forced induction is used it outstrips the capabilities of the fuel injectors.

Starting at post 24 this individual had issues. Another below him said he got a code for running rich, and even CP-E chimed in through an email correspondence with someone stating that the MAF location on these cars must be exact.
While rich and lean conditions are two separate things, no matter what you want to argue, it's very obvious it's the intake that's causing OP's condition.
Also, you can read around on the forums, these cars are rather strictly turned from the factory. So while the injectors may be able to compensate for small modifications, it's the ECU parameters that make it "not possible" and will throw some lights.

Good evening,
I have the K&N Air-Intake System with the heat shield and I love the sound. The instruction are super easy to follow too. Plus, they have dyno sheets to prove the power too. I’ve had no problem with my system at all. As for the tune I’m waiting to do the injectors and too very soon.
