Ecu!!!!

So I contacted Rodney at J and R Next Level Performance... here is what he said.... "Thank you for following our progress and thank you for your inquiry also , yes we've been getting news about k- pro , fortunately we would be up to the task to make a programmable ecu which in truth is actually a true standalone but must be used with stock ecu for luxury functions and vsa ,ac ect to function so rather than just intercepting signals which a piggy back would do ,we actually send no feedback to stock ecu ,with this we have full control with tuning maps ..
Are you a distributor looking to sell these units ?

I can have this up and running in two weeks with a group buy which I would require 10 it more people with a 400 deposit to get this developed ..."

This is good news guys... I may be sending them my car for a tester vehicle... will get back to you all, but in the mean time please compile a list of people that would be down for this unit... It will not get rid of any of our luxury aspects... just make it so we can tune everything, think K-Pro... this means skunk and other companies will finally make things for the K23a ))

The ECU is the Engine Control Unit, like a K-Pro... good, everything tuning, more boost with no limp mode, control over fuel management, possible turbo swaps, all while keeping everything we love about our RDX... no price yet, but a 400 deposit is needed for them to get started from ten people... the unit will more than likely be plug and play...

no news on that yet, im assuming they will be making one for both, but the idea is a standalone that doesnt have anything to do with the factory ecu... doesnt report back at all... so it might not be year specific...

^yes.
Rodney came out with an ECU for the 3rd gen TL's.
the stock ECU is retained, and you add Rodney's.

this is how the stock features are retained.
