No updates yet. I'm pondering(sp) on getting the Hondata flash with the downpipe upgrade because i'm not sure if theres enough in the flash to compensate for the downpipe. With just the upgraded downpipe and high flow intake, the a/f lean almost 2 points over stock.
Working my way around a fmic for it. Just haven't had much time lately :I

When it come times for smog you can swap the OEM parts back in. Removing the OEM pieces takes the most time, as they're bulky.

Please explain, have You already received Hondata ECU? You remember, you promised to manufacture several downpipes now in August
Take a look. Hondata updated their web-site

A custom reflash has been designed in conjunction with Church Automotive to work with with their 3" exhaust system. The exhaust + Church Auto reflash adds 40 HP over stock. Read about it on the Temple of VTEC. This reflash is only available for purchase from Church Automotive Testing.

Great welding man! The Oem is really restrictive! Was a bit skeptical about the hp gains until I saw the oem pipe. Based on the charts the car is running rich enough to get a little more squeeze. Have you tried to resonate the midpipe to keep noise down? There isn't much room there, but I think a small resonator can fit.

sorry guys, i've been very busy lately but still around. I have 4 sets of flanges machined and awaiting to do a small production run. Hopefully I can free up some time in the near future and get something started.
Legendkurado - noise level barely increased to a minimal.

the reason that the k&n didnt seem to deliver on the dyno is because when you combine modifications (exhaust, intake, CAC...) you cant add all of the claimed performance gains together. Eg: a k&n claims 8hp gain; this may be true on a otherwise stock car, but when combined with other mods it is realistic to only expect 2-3hp... this has to do with an increase in the total volumetric efficency of the engine. even though it may not make as much power as expected there is still a large decrease in the amount of effort the engine has to put into making that power...

ill try here. i found a shop willing to make a 3 inch dp for around 450.00 is there any intrest? i will be getting one done in september after i get back from basic. i leave on may2. if there is intrest i could give mine for development for a week. i plan on deleting the primary cat. and just running the factory secondary. it would be bolt in and have flanges just like the factory setup.

also talked to doug at hondata. one tune only for now and there shouldnt be any problems with the afr's. he said the church tune was only a few horse different in the mid range. so untill someone gets cams turbo and pistons also fuel system upgrade the tune is one for all and is safe.
