well, what is your goal for the car? to absolutely sit on the frame???? if not, then the standard height would do you well.

I'm betting you will enjoy the standard one, as you can lower the car to a pretty low height. it's only the people that want to be SUPER LOW or beyond reasonably low that spring for the lower one.

I have the standard kit on my 2006 TL and the standard kit can be adjusted to be well beyond what I enjoy in a lowered car. matter of fact, I keep raising my car up, because it's too low. and this is for the standard kit.

the standard kit can even go lower than this...this is when I first installed the BC's, to me; this is way to low.

here's how my car sits today; after years of revisions...I enjoy it high up.

Thanks!
The extreme low kits are more for show cars with static drops. I couldn’t imagine trying to daily a car with a 3”-4” drop for so many reasons. From BC Racing:

6. What is the min/max lowering for both standard and extreme kits?

Our standard kits are approximately 1” below OEM ride height at max high, and approximately 2.5-3” below OEM ride height at max low. Extreme drop kits are approximately 2” below OEM ride height at max high, and are approximately 4” below OEM ride height at max low, depending on the coilover kit. Some vehicle chassis’ do not fall within these parameters.

You don’t need to go lower than the standard kit I’m half way down the coil over and the wheels have no gap at all
