I would like to buy ETS Intercooler, unfortunately the product is no longer available on the Heeltoe and ETS websites. Do any of you know where to buy this intercooler?
EDIT:
I found this intercooler on TopSpeed for $ 849. Is this the only store available where I can buy it?
Better make sure they can get it before getting your hopes up; these vehicles are not that popular and consequently servicing by aftermarket vendors is likely to dwindle as time goes on.
If needed it might be worth trying an interest thread here (and any other place where owners of first-gen RDXs hang out) to see how many people would buy one; often if you get enough people signed up (10? 20?) the manufacturer would do another production run. I might sign up if the price was right.
Yes, the best solution would be to gather more people interested in this intercooler. All you have to do is bring together interested people ...
I will look for another solution, here in Poland. I know a company that produces performance intercoolers for individual clients.
Maybe they would make a prototype for me, if the price will be attractive (for example: half the price proposed by TopSpeed), you could place an order from Poland ...
If I do not find a custom intercooler in the US, I will try to deal with this matter in spring 2020.
Good luck - ultimately the aftermarket for this car peaked years ago. The vast majority of people that want parts have already obtained them. Short of a custom solution, you may want to keep a close eye on the market section of the forums for someone that may be selling theirs.
Yes, especially since ETS are not planning to resume intercooler production. In spring I will explore the possibility of production in Poland.
Unfortunately I do not have a second OEM piece to send for a valuation of production costs. In Poland, parts for this model are difficult to find, because it is not popular.
Maybe some of you have a damaged or unnecessary oem intercooler and can send me?
Yeah, but the shipping costs and taxes are horrible (about 110 USD only for shipping).
Unfortunately, I don't know anyone in the USA who could buy and send me a package as a private person, avoiding taxes and duties.
Depending on how serious you were I could easily help with that; receive/repackage/ship.
Thanks for Your help. In the springtime I will try to buy it.
I have some friends who can possibly send me the oem used intercooler from US. If they fall - Iwill contact with You.
Yeah!
I picked up my new intercooler yesterday.
Built on the body of the old one.
The core was replaced with one with higher capacity (wider channels compared to OEM). Prepared for 270-300 HP. I am waiting for computer modifications to achieve a good result.
Tomorrow I'll take a photo with oem vs custom intercoolers for comparison.
I must say, of the mods I did, I do like the ETS intercooler the best. Just looked better made and those cheap bendable fins on the OEM one bothered me. I think the ETS one stays cooler, even in Florida.

Yes. I also wanted to buy ETS, which I haven't already found on the market.

They stopped making them completely. I'm contemplating a local shop making one for me, I'm kind of afraid where that may lead.
Been down that road before...
edit: and yes, those are custom finished Works
This is a total bummer. I snooze, I lose. I finally ready to pull trigger and it’s gone. If anyone knows of any alternative or wants to sell theres, please let me know.
I am contemplating a Mishimoto CTR front mount. I'll figure it out for next summers upgrade session. I bought my RDX as a winter beater, but I'll probably go nuts on it anyway. https://www.mishimoto.com/honda-civi....html#features

Consider the differences (engine size, max boost pressure), and possible alternatives.
here is one, apparently worked for years
Power is made by an air pump and as such, flow equals power, regardless of displacement. It needs to have enough flow for your maximum power, more than that just creates more lag. Liquid to air systems are great for drag races, but not so much for a street car that heat soaks the liquid at stop lights. I would giggle with the power I got from my EVO 8, 425 awhp, out of my RDX, until it broke. 4 wheel buyouts are fun, but the tranny is only good for 400ish hp. I've had a 750hp daily driver, don't want to go there with a winter beater. I'm only targeting 350ish. More than that, adding icy streets and studded tires, would be hard to handle.

Respectfully disagree with this.... I had a Spearco Air/Liquid on a twincharged MR2 many years ago and the average temperature drop driving around town was phenomenal. It's definitely a viable option. I do agree that 350 from the RDX would probably make the perfect daily driver though.

I live in a large city with many stop lights and 30 and 35 MPH speed limits. An aluminum tank sitting over the engine would heat soak badly. Environment plays a key roll in upgrading.
If I went liquid /air, I would set up an electric ac unit to the tank and keep it 40°. Just not worth all the engineering.
I mostly drive my ILX for the MPG because of the environment. Amusingly, my old 750hp monster got the same MPG, when driven sanely, as the RDX.
I sent them an email, will post back when they respond.
I would also be very interested in this. I’ve been off roading/overlanding with my 07’ RDX. So, keeping the intercooler cooler while going uphill would be really helpful.
