18" rims replacement and offset
18" rims replacement and offset
If you were to replace your 18" stock rims with a different set of 18s.. would they still be as 'tucked' in as our stock rims? assuming stock offset is 45... with an offset of 42 on some other 18s.. they would probably be a bit further out with our stock tires?
get a wider than stock rim to fill the gap better, if the replacement is the same size it will most likely appear the same way (assuming the offset doesnt switch much)....but why go 18's again? if ur gonna change out the rim, go at least a +1

If you go with 8" wide rims and, for example, 40mm offset, that will put the outside face of the wheel [1/4" (wheel width) + 5mm (offset)] ~= 1/2" further toward the outside of the car.
I would highly recommend against using spacers.
