Audi Style LED

littleblazer - where are you planning to install them?
wspy - I like the way those modules look! I'd prefer for them to be set wider though...but that would require custom cutting/molding/fitting them into the bumper or front lip.

The LED looks good but I needed something brighter for the road.
So I decided to go with these fog lamps with 35w 3000k HID.
I have my factory fogs with 35w 3000k HID
It is a love it or hate it thing but all it matters is that I like it a lot.
Can't wait to drive at night time (Better pictures coming soon)

littleblazer - the curved ends of the lenses on the modules you posted make it look like those were meant to be fitted INSIDE of a headlight. That would look pretty cool if you opened up your headlights and found a place for them in there.

I don't understand the fascination with impersonating another vehicle altogether. I'm seeing those LED's installed on a lot of newer cars now... Mercedes, Porsche, Ford...

Very true and thats the reason why i did not go with the Audi style in my headlight....
the only reason am replacing my fogs is because my Oversized AEM air filter sits right behind my fogs and to have the most air through it, I wanted to open up the grille and since i need fogs/DRL i went with this module....

Yeah... I'm not impressed by the stock fogs either. I have an '83 Mercedes 300D that a client swapped me for some accounting services earlier this year. The old sealed beam headlights were fuzzy at best due to some electrical issues and the fact that the bulbs themselves were old. So old, in fact, that when I replaced them the glass came off because the seals had rotted. Even then, those old headlights were brighter than the stock fogs on my RDX.
But my stock fog lightbulb did a pretty decent job lighting up the road.
I just got greedy and wanted more and brighter lighting - Thus my new aftermarket HID fogs!

You should because you live in PDX.
You need as much lighting as possible. (Plus the rain doesn't help)
I used to live in Vancouver for a while and it was dangerous and dark driving all the way from downtown Portland going home.
Wish I had these back then! ~

Another picture with just the fogs and daytime running lights on -
Sorry ops for stealing your thread; another option if you ever decide that you need more lighting on the roads.

No worries. Working on one of those clunkers really is a labor of love. I just... I don't love it enough to worry with upgrading the headlights. Particularly considering how much just one of those amber Bosch fog lights runs... I think around $80 or so. Oy... one day it'll be pimp, though.
