Volume Hands Free Link Question

Just got my black on black RDX last weekend, so I've joined the club! Have a volume question though. When I use the Hands Free Link to make a call the prompt voice (male or female) is at a comfortable level when the volume is around 20. But once the call is connected, it is at a comfortable level when it's around 35. When I hang up the call I either have to remember to turn it down to 20 or the prompt voice is blaring the next time I use it. Is there a way to adjust one or the other so that they are more equal in volume? Is anyone else expeiencing this?

I experience this as well. many times it is the person on the other end. When I talk to my dad, he is a loud talker, so I don't have to turn it up at all, but when I talk to my girlfriend who talks softly, I have to turn it up to 40 sometimes.

With some models of cell phones, it helps to turn the earpiece volume all the way up on the phone.

2 Different volume controls to adjust.

Once you have the HFL voice set to your comfort level, you will need to adjust your phone's volume level separately.

I had to do this with my phone just once and now have both the HFL voice and phone volumes adjusted perfectly.

Adjusting the phone volume doesn't help with my HFL. It is extremely quiet and there is a big loud obnnoxious blast before it connects???? Any other adjustments on the HFL side? Or do I need to "bake" the circuit board?
