I just bought an Acura 2007 RDX and the radio code the code in the car is not working for the radio

 

I really need this code. i used the code on the car and it didnt work. I got the serial from the radio and try to obtain a code online and the response i got was that the serial number does not match the car VIN. Please help me to get the code

 

Using the VIN for Acura to look-up the radio code is the best way. There might be the original VIN from where the replacement radio came from still on head unit? If not, you might have to replace the radio with a unit with a known code or at least know the VIN of the donor vehicle.

You could also use brute force by inputting every radio combination. The radio code has 6 number possibilities for every slot for the 5 digit code 6X6X6X6X6= 7,776 possible codes (starting with 11111 to 66666). If you tried 100 codes a day, it would take you about 77 days to go through all the possibilities; but, you should hit the right combo between day 25-50.
