Yesterday I was playing with my battery and i took the wires off my battery..... on my 97 cl........anyways everything oviously reset on my car time etc.. but my stock cd stereo also reset and i can't play music no more it asked for a code that i dont have and so i tried codes and now it just says "err-3" and i cant play music. I want planning on buying a new stereo until i had some more dough but this mught rush things I dont have no manual either !

 

call acura help (number BY PHONE Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM Pacific Standard time at the toll-free number (800) 382-2238). give them the vin number of your car. ask them for the original dealer the car was shipped to when new. call that dealership, give them the vin number, and they should be able to give you the code. they might ask you to come in or give them some proof of ownership. second option is to remove the radio, get the serial number, call an acura dealership and they should be able to get the code using the serial number. good luck.

 

LOOK under the ashtray thing below the radio...that is where thay put it on the 3.0 I had.

On my old 99 3.0 if you pulled out the ashtrey thing and looked on the back of it there was a sticker that had the #...maybe they didnt do it then.
