Well I found my first problem with my RDX -- it was with the reading of messages that come from AcuraLink.

When the message indicator appears and I tried to play the messages, they came out all broken up and staccato sounding. Basically it wasn't possible to understand the messages. Since the voice message is much longer than the text summary you see on the screen, this was a problem.

It took my dealer a day to figure out where the problem was. It turns out that the problem was the XM Moduile. Why? I am not sure but my guess is that the AcuraLink Messaging system works 'through' the XM satelite system. (They gave me an RDX Loaner for the day while they worked -- that was a nice touch)

They had replaced each of the other modules (radio, Navigation, voice, etc.) and nothing worked until they replaced the XM Module. So now I have a new XM Radio ID but that's no big deal. No charge, of course!

So, now it works perfectly! Just wanted to post this in case someone else has this problem. Now you can tell your dealer where the problem lies.
