Navigation update help, cant update

I just bought a white DVD 2011 ver.4.92 from ebay. When I put the DVD in, it gave me the error message "Currently, a disc has been inserted which is older than the downloaded program. Please check disc version." After several seconds, it showed “Please wait, downloading software”, Then 1-2 mins later, it told me "Please check the disk".

BTW, my car is 08 RDX with tech, the map version is 4.62A. The 4.92 version is supposed to be a higher version than original one. I dont know why the update disk doesnt work. Is my navigation system wrong?
Please help me

Return it and get a refund, file a claim if need be.
Buy the real deal from the Acura website (store), but wait a few months a get the 2012 updated nav disc, no point updating now.

Acura navi disk usually come out once a year around Oct/Nov. The only time the disk was delayed was when the daylight savings dates changed and push the new disk out til the New Year.

I've had my TSX for +5 years and found updating to the latest $200 disk in Oct is a waste of money. The Acura navi website never tells you what changes they made in you area, there is no way to preview the upgrades, and 98-99.9% of data on your old disk will still get you to your destination. I now upgrade every 3rd year and purchase from e-bay for $50-$75; I haven’t had any problems going this route. I rely on how much feedback and the overall rating (the more the better).

Keep in mind, if someone is selling a white disk v4.A2 for a Honda Accord for $35 and a white disk v4.A2 for a RDX for $75; purchase the cheaper Honda accord white because they are exactly the same. Only purchase the white disk only, no other color will work with our navi.

Current Acura Navi version:

All use the same White disk
Acura RL 2006-2011
Acura TL 2007-2008
Acura MDX 2006-2009
Acura TSX 2006-2010
Acura RDX 2007-2011

Current Honda Navi version:

All use the same White disk:
Honda Odyssey 2006-2010
Honda Pilot 2006-2011
Honda Accord 2006-2011
Honda Ridgeline 2007-2011
Honda Accord Crosstour 2010-2011

Thanks mr35, they just released the 2012, and it's only $149.
Like I said, eddy, you should have asked for a refund, because you just updated to the 2011 disc, and they just released the 2012.
