MusicStink cable placement in armrest storage.

I was just wondering, since there is no practical way to navigate the iPod via the audio console other than random album or random song. Is it possible to move the cable from my glove compartment to the armrest storage? I've been unplugging my ipod to navigate but it's kinda hard with the MusicStink cable in the glove compartment. Thanks.

And, yes, I know there is the TTS software to navigate but that stuff sucks ass on my computer and to use as design from the audio console.

Of course you can run the cable to wherever you want. I believe the MusicLink cable is long enough to reach the center arm rest if wired correctly. And you'll have to cut or drill a hole in the center storage in order for the cable to get in there....

That's great news, has anyone tried do this? I would be interested to know how hard it would be to do.

I ran my cable to the armrest, but I'm using the Neo adapter now which connects the same. Just not sure if the MusicLink cable is long enough for you, but if memory serves, it was the same length as the Neo cable. My cable runs from the Neo adapter to the armrest storage and it still pulls out of the storage area plenty long enough.
