Purchased 07 RDX a couple of weeks ago for wife. I know there has been past discussion about this, but I have to ask again, why hasn't Acura fixed the display problem (in relation to the iPod)? Havn't they been installing these for the past 3 to 4 years?

I also have an 06 Pathfinder with the Ipod link. It works wonderfully The Artist, song and playlist all are displayed on my Nav Screen. The best I can do on the RDX is a track number and I think a playlist number and that isn't even on the main display but on the small one that shows your inside tempature setting.

By the way, love the RDX I really don't feel the ipod thing would ever be a deal breaker. But still have to ask the question to someone that has probably done their research, why? Thanks

 

I think it has to do with the head unit and the capabilities of that unit, or so I have been told.

Probably needs to be moved to the Audio section, where there is lots of discussion on this also.

in simple terms the music link is garbage. If you want full text display from the IPOD, the new DICE unit does the job, but you loose XM. But if you wish to retain XM and have control of the ipod for the steering wheel and the ipod itself, then the USA SPEC HON2Y is your best bet
