Light Bar on RDX?
i mean, a light bar is a light bar. it will look like a light bar on any vehicle.
plus, when installing a light bar, its probably more about function than form any way.
what do you need the extra light for?

I haven't seen an aftermarket solutions that doesn't look like a cheap aftermarket solution. Light bars seem to work and look better with body on frame trucks/SUVs and trail rated Jeeps. I have been looking for a small dual 3-6 inch LED light bar solution for my MDX to use as back-up lights (connect to lower part of rear bumper). The MDX back-up lights and poor visibility camera is about useless at night. Other than adding the extra lights for looks, the RDX has pretty good HIDs, fogs, back-up cam and back-up light compared to my MDX.
I love that the high beams do not turn off the low beams on this car. Driving to my brother's cabin at night (dirt roads in the forest with zero ambient light), having fogs + low + high lights on is like daytime. IMO a light bar would be overkill, but to each their own! As others said the install should be the same as on any other car, just find one that fits your needs visually and functionally.

Perhaps OP is looking for a light bar because he/she is a volunteer or auxiliary firefighter or LEO??? Maybe it's not just about extra lighting but emergency lighting??

When I was looking for LED light solution for my MDX, I found several sites for interior light bars that would be very cool (if they fit Acura vehicles). They would look like undercover police interior light bars you can put in the inside of the front or rear windows. They would be 100% invisible until you turn them on. They even have one for the outside under the rear hatch spoiler. Most of them are made for GM/Ford/Dodge vehicles.

Very expensive and not sure how bright they are compared to the off road LED light bars.

reason i was thinking about it is because we have 300+ acres of land down here in MS....and me and my wife take her RDX up there (cause the tsx wont make it) when hunting season is here and when we go visit...it would be nice to have...and i would not consider any lightbar "form" in a sense that most car guys would when they talk about "form" for styling purposes...the function is there...more light. besides i have a friend of mine with a 09 TSX and he put a huge light bar on his roof...and im not gonna lie...it's SICK...
well yeah, to a degree...but i do agree with you that some light bars look good on some vehicles....and others its just...." hey look, it's a light bar" lmao....honestly what i would like to do tomy wife's RDX is get some All-Terrains on it and kinda go for the off-road/baja styling on it....i know that this is not a good comparison...but i've seen a Nissan Juke with Baja Accents on it and it looks kinda neat...it's different...and with the RDX SH-AWD it would be fun
The RDX would look better than this Juke though if done up right

I think it could work if your RDX has a OEM/aftermarket roof rack and you could rotate the light bar up/down when needed. Roof rack would give it a mounting point and blend in the light bar so it doesn't stand out too much. You could even add something like a yakima roof rack air deflector to hide or integrate (cut/insert) into it.
I strongly feel that the s2000 design is so good (aesthetics and mechanics), it warrants little modification.
My '00 is stock, other than intake and exhaust (nice low note, not angry bees).
I wouldn't mind wheels, and when the time comes, I'll probably install adjustable shocks (Koni Yellow).

I agree especially if you look at what was done with the MDX I posted above.
