Has anyone with a 2007/8 RDX updated an iPhone 3GS to iOS 4.1? Apple supposedly included some bluetooth 'improvements', a there are lots of reports of problems with car systems. Should I expect problems if I upgrade?

 

I have been fine with an Iphone 4 running 4.1

Interestingly, unlike prior phones, if iPhone is on vibrate mode, car will still mute radio, show caller ID in display and take call, but will not announce "you have an incoming call" / ring. iPhone must not send "ring" over bluetooth when on vibrate only. If set to ring works normally.

 

I have an 07 tech and Iphone 3gs with OS 4.1. Everything works just fine

 

Yeah...given how few answers I got, I ended up just taking the plunge. As you found, it works just fine.
