HFL not responding

I recently purchased and have been fixing up a 2007 RDX. When I got it the HFL was not working. Nothing would happen when I pushed the talk button and I was having issues with the battery draining if I didn’t use the car every day. So I replaced the HFL module with a known working one it’s still not doing anything when you press the button on the wheel. If anyone has any ideas of what else to test/replace to fix it, I would greatly appreciate it! Thank you

UPDATE - after I restarted the car HFL started working. The only issue I’m having now is that when I put the HFL in pairing mode it doesn’t show up on my iPhone 15 as an available device for me to pair with. I have seen several thread on here about people having issues pairing iPhones. Are there any work arounds that any one knows of? Thanks again
